The Eagles

Tonight we went to Caleb's football game. They won against the Broncos 49-6. Caleb had 3 interceptions and 4 touchdowns. Austin had a great time watching the game and playing with the football. At one point he ran out on the field. Thank goodness Zandra was light on her feet tonight.

Coach Treadway

I am currently coaching the Hawks flag football team in the PGYA. I was summoned for my knowledge and experience to help my boss coach a team. We are now in our 3rd week and things are starting to come together. We started off slow with a loss after 4 turnovers, but came back with a solid win in week 2 with a 28-0 shutout. Coaching 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders can be challenging but fun. Austin has been enjoying the games and is trying to learn the in's and out's of football. We are off this week but will have a couple of practices to harness the circus a bit more.

Rescue Puppies

Three weeks ago I traveled to Springhill Louisiana to pick up four Brussels Griffon puppies that were scheduled to be euthanized that day. The breeder could not sell them so she decided to have them put to sleep. So, we are currently fostering 4 puppies along with our 3 dogs until they get adopted. Things are a little crazy around here.

Erin

New York City

This past August Brent and I traveled to New York City for 5 days. Brent has been several times but this was my first trip to the Big Apple. It was hard to leave Austin behind but time really flew by.

Chicago

Chicago was a blast...we went to Wrigley Field and got to see the Cubs beat the White Sox with a walk off HR in the bottom of the 9th inning. We went to the Shedd Aquarium and lots of other cool places. We also went to see the Broadway play "Wicked" which was really good. --Brent
